We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Aquarium Sales Assistant to join our team at Smiths Aquarium in Boondall, Queensland. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their aquarium needs as well as maintaining the instore aquariums. What you'll be doing Greeting and assisting customers in the store, answering their questions, and providing recommendations on aquarium products and fish. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the aquarium displays and sales floor. Monitoring and caring for the health and wellbeing of the fish and aquatic animals in our store. Restocking and organizing shelves and displays as needed. Processing customer purchases and payments in a friendly and efficient manner. What we're looking for A person who has a genuine passion for aquariums and aquatic life. Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers. Familiarity with the care and maintenance of a variety of fish and aquarium equipment. A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
