We are seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Cook/Chef to join our talented culinary team at Cafe 63' in Peninsula Fair, Queensland. As a fulltime member of our kitchen crew, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality meals that delight our customers every day. What you’ll be doing Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of delicious and creative menu items Ensure all dishes are presented to the highest standards Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workspace Adhere to all food safety and health regulations Work collaboratively with the front‑of‑house team to provide an exceptional customer experience Support the Head Chef in menu development and continuous improvement What we’re looking for Proven experience as a cook or kitchen hand in a fast‑paced cafe or restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation Excellent time management and multitasking skills Ability to work well in a team and under pressure Passion for creating delicious, high‑quality meals Food safety certification or willingness to obtain What we offer Competitive salary and opportunities for advancement Ongoing training and development Supportive and collaborative team environment Discounted meals and beverages Full‑time Contract Salary 74000 to 78000 annually What you’ll require is: 2 years or more in a similar position in a busy environment. Certificate IV or higher qualification related to cookery, kitchen management or hospitality management (preferred) Excellent people skills and a suitable attitude the capacity to lead, grow, and collaborate with a large team.
