Role Overview We are seeking a PHP Developer to join our technology team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining web‑based applications that support our logistics operations, including inventory systems, client portals, and API integrations. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance the efficiency of supply chain processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain PHP‑based applications for logistics and supply chain management. Integrate systems with third‑party APIs and internal tools. Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with operations and IT teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with business needs. Stay updated on emerging PHP frameworks and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven skills as a PHP (5.4+) Developer Knowledge of PHP frameworks like Laravel, Lumen and MVC designs Proficiency with relational and non‑relational databases including MySQL, Firebird and CouchDB Understanding of REST API development and integration ranging from various carriers to eCommerce platforms (like Shopify, Australia Post, etc) Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Version Control & Deployment Tools like Git and Gitea Solid communication skills between employees and customers Must have an Australian citizenship or permanent resident visa Desirable Qualifications Skills and experience with Python Knowledge of good security principles and practices. Knowledge of basic networking principles. Understanding of Docker and containers Experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS) and services (crons, cups, Apache/ Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT, Computer Science or a similar discipline. #J-18808-Ljbffr
