Driver - Concrete Boral Canberra , Australian Capital Territory, Australia Seniority level: Entry level | Employment type: Full-time | Job function: Management and Manufacturing | Industry: Construction As a Boral driver based out of our Mugga/Symonston Concrete Plant, you will play a key role in building our community every day. You will be trained by a dedicated Driver Trainer in the safe operation of Agitator Trucks, and you will be guided on how to deliver Boral’s concrete to our valued customers. From driveways to stadiums, you will provide high quality service to our customers and leave your mark on a variety of infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating our agitator trucks in a safe manner Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided) Delivering concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients effectively to maintain service Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences Qualifications Current HR drivers' licence with agitator driving experience Valid white card or willingness to obtain one Interest in the concrete industry will be highly regarded with full training provided Benefits Permanent, full-time opportunity offering overtime Monthly Rostered Day Off – 13 additional, paid days off Access to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance Program We provide a working environment that is safe, caring, supportive and dynamic with a clear focus on continually encouraging and developing its people Genuine career growth opportunities within Boral About Boral Concrete: At Boral Concrete, we have more than 200 operational sites across Australia.
