Right now, we’re working on some of the cleanest and greenest renewables projects in the country, creating opportunities for our Ecologists to shape groundbreaking ecology solutions and biodiversity offsets.Here’s what you can expect and count on in your role as a Senior Ecologist with EMM:You’ll be part of a highly experienced Ecology community from day oneYou’ll provide a people first leadership for your QLD team in the delivery of ecology field surveys, preparing high quality reports and proposals as well as building excellent project management skills, supporting the delivery of significant projects across multiple sectorsThe opportunity to lead, inspire and play a key part in the development journey of our diverse team of EcologistsYou’ll work with leaders who are truly present and excited to help you to growThe autonomy and flexibility to work the way that works best for you and the support you need to balance your interests and priorities beyond workThis is hybrid position that would combine home working with team collaboration days at our Brisbane officeThe role will require field work across the StateHere’s what you’ll bring:10 years plus relevant post graduate experience, preferably gained within an ecological consultancy environmentExtensive experience with planning and leading ecological field surveys and plant/botany identification skillsA passion and track record for developing teams and providing opportunities for growth and developmentSolid experience undertaking regional ecosystem surveys and BioCondition assessmentsAbility to research, prepare documentation and draw conclusions to support recommendations for reviewA degree in ecology or a related disciplineHighly developed written and oral communication skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects effectivelyGreat relationship skills including the ability to liaise with the team, clients and all relevant stakeholdersHave a current/valid unrestricted QLD driver’s licenseEMM Consulting Pty Limited (EMM) is a leading employee-owned planning and environment consultancy, working throughout Australia and internationally from offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Canberra.EMM is committed to promoting fairness, equity and diversity in its workplace.
