About our school St Benedict’s Primary School at Mango Hill has a student population of just over 750 students. The school was established in 2008 and is located in the outer northern suburbs of Brisbane (Mango Hill). Summary Position title: Assistant Principal Religious Education Location: St Benedict's Primary School, Mango Hill Work hours: Full-time Status: Full Time | Fixed-Term (This is a substantive 5 year appointment as APRE with a further 5 years offer subject to a positive review) About the opportunity Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to support the Principal in: building the religious life of the school and a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community; growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance. About you To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including: Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education. Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements: Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
