Plumbing Team Leader – Technical & Field Support Melbourne Plumbing Group (MPG) is a well-established and fast-growing plumbing company known for professionalism, quality, and reliability. As our business continues to expand, we’re seeking a motivated Plumbing Team Leader to help drive our operations, support our plumbers, and ensure the highest level of service delivery for our valued clients. About the Role This is a diverse and rewarding position that bridges the gap between the office and the field. You’ll work closely with our plumbers, schedulers, and admin team to ensure every job runs smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support and guidance to field plumbers. Act as a lead hand for day-to-day plumbing operations. Work with scheduling and admin to troubleshoot issues and plan efficient workflows. Attend sites for job setup, check‑ins, and overall project delivery (typically 3–10‑day jobs). Prepare and present notes and updates in toolbox meetings to help keep the team aligned. Conduct small field‑based quotes and assist with client communication. Deliver clear job plans and follow‑up reports for both clients and the plumbing team. Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and workmanship quality. Lead by example. About You You’re a hands‑on, confident plumber who enjoys leadership, mentoring, and problem‑solving. You can manage a balance of site and office work while keeping the team moving in the right direction. You’ll Bring VBA Plumbing Registration (Certifying Plumber preferred). Experience across maintenance, small projects, and service work. Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills. Clear communication and organisational ability. Confidence presenting and leading toolbox meetings. Competency with digital job management systems (AroFlo highly regarded). A positive, team‑first attitude and pride in your trade.
