As part of our expansion into technology programs, Charlton Brown is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to strengthen our technology infrastructure and support our growing IT programs. Job Duties: Manage and maintain the college’s server environments, including system configuration, updates, backup processes, and performance monitoring. Oversee administration of cloud services, email systems, user accounts, and access permissions across multiple campuses. Support the college’s e-learning platforms, student management systems, and digital classroom technologies to ensure reliable academic delivery. Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols in compliance with institutional and government requirements. Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and provide long-term solutions to minimise disruptions for staff and students. Provide technical assistance to trainers and academic staff by preparing and maintaining IT lab environments required for technology courses. Coordinate software deployments, system upgrades, patching schedules, and documentation of IT procedures and system configurations. Work with external IT vendors and internal stakeholders to plan, deliver, and improve system infrastructure projects across all campuses. Selection Criteria: Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT systems role. Relevant bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Networking, or Systems Engineering. Strong understanding of server administration, cloud technologies, virtualization, and network fundamentals.
