About the Role As a Design Engineer , you will play a key role in conceptualising and delivering innovative geotechnical solutions, from the initial design to successful project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dedicated team and be part of high-profile tier 1 projects within Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. You will be responsible for: Innovative Design and Estimating: Converting tender opportunities to won work by developing concept design solutions and detailed estimate for the project and engaging with the clients during the bid phase. Project Execution and Support: Coordinate handovers with operations for seamless project delivery and ensure on-site design verification to maintain design verification. Sustainability: Champion sustainable practices across all project phases, seeking to minimise environmental impact and promote resource efficiency in collaboration with clients, suppliers, and the project team. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to support project goals and drive repeat business from high priority clients. Continuous Innovation and Improvement: Stay at the forefront of industry standards, pursue professional development, and champion design improvements for excellence in quality and cost efficiency. Financial & Commercial Management: Produce accurate tender estimates, perform cost analysis, and track milestones for project profitability. Mentorship: As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and shape the future of our industry through knowledge-sharing and development through our mentorship program.
