Senior Associate - Investment Operations Qualitas is a leading ASX-listed Australian alternative real estate investment manager, specialising in real estate private credit and real estate private equity. About the position The Senior Associate, Investment Operations is responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient settlement of investment and loan activities across Qualitas. The role oversees fund administration workflows, coordinates payment and settlement processes, and works closely with internal teams and external service providers. As a key operational partner to the Investment Team, this role supports daily investment activities, drives process improvements, and contributes to a strong control environment. Location: Melbourne Employment Type: Permanent Full-time Key responsibilities Leading settlement workflows, fund operations and payment instructions Partnering with the Investment Team to support deal execution and portfolio activities Managing loan account setup, drawdowns, repayments and borrower interactions Overseeing KYC processes and regulatory requirements Coordinating documentation and settlement flows across administrators and custodians Responding to client, borrower and lender enquiries with clarity and professionalism Driving process improvements and automation initiatives Contributing to a strong operational control environment Coaching and supporting team members as the operations function continues to evolve What you’ll bring to the role 6–7 years’ experience in loan settlement, funds management operations or financial markets Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent workflows Experience in private credit, real assets or lending environments (highly valued) Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management capability A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and passion for continuous improvement Curiosity for digital tools and new technologies A collaborative, accountable and professional approach in line with Qualitas values We recognise that our people are our greatest strength and as an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to celebrating diversity and fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where all employees are empowered to thrive.
