Make a meaningful safety impact in a dynamic work environment We are seeking an experienced WHS Advisor to join our team and provide dedicated support to our logistics operations. Reporting to various stakeholders, this role is critical in ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, fostering a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement across our transport and warehousing environments, both in Perth and on Ngaanyatjarra Lands. You will be predominantly based in our Perth office centrally located in St Georges Terrace with access to world class facilities including gym, pool and tennis courts but get a chance to travel to our communities on a regular basis. About the Role : You are a practical, results‑driven individual who : Provides WHS and risk management support to the logistics teams, across multiple communities and sites. Conducts risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations as required. Ensures JSA / SWMS compliance and assists with contractor WHS management. Develops and maintains WHS policies, procedures and documentation. Delivers safety training and toolbox talks to staff and contractors. Provides safety support and coaching to leaders. Creates and drives initiatives to improve safety performance and culture. Supports emergency readiness and response activities. Tracks compliance actions and maintains accurate records to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and to support ISO certification, including audit readiness and reporting. Maintains Safety Management System (MyOSH) content and supports team compliance. Advocates safe working practices and a culture that embraces ongoing improvements to team safety culture. About You : Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, or equivalent. 3‑5 years' experience in a WHS advisory role. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management principles. Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, investigations, and implement corrective actions. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in safety management systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to travel regularly between communities and work independently in diverse operational environments. Current driver's license and first aid certification. 4x4 training and accredited mental health training (desirable). Experience in logistics, transport or materials handling environments (desirable). Experience working in remote Indigenous communities (desirable).
