Linc Group (formerly Linct Group) are an established Civil Construction Company who specialises in pavement designs and rehab. We have delivered complex and remote projects in VIC, SA, NT and QLD. We are looking for a proactive and driven Work Health & Safety Advisor to join our team and grow their skills. The position will be based in Pakenham, VIC and will require 1 week per month on the road at remote sites. Your key responsibilities will include: Ensure compliance with all OH&S and Quality policies. Obtain and review Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and other OH&S documentation from subcontractors before site approval. Conduct site‑specific safety inductions for new workers. Review and amend subcontractors' SWMS as needed. Manage OH&S data using Assignar. Perform regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to policies and procedures. Hold monthly toolbox meetings to consult on OH&S matters with workgroups and safety representatives. Maintain and update OH&S documentation and IMS, including Company Policies, Procedures & SWMS. Oversee compliance of subcontractors, supervise Site Managers' safety practices, and provide PPE to personnel. Responsibilities of the role include: Provide support, coordination and advice of Health Safety practices, systems and procedures within a defined workplace. Conduct Health and Safety audits and inspections. Implement occupational health and safety procedures based on approved company policies in the areas of health and safety. Coordinate the investigation of causes on site and maintain documentation in accordance with Health and Safety procedures. Provide Health and Safety specialist advice and technical input to delivery, ensuring that legal and contractual obligations / risks are identified and communicated appropriately. Maintain records of all Health and Safety requirements in the work place, in accordance with legislative company requirements and provide statistical summaries of these records. Conduct return to work coordinator activities. To be successful in this key role, you must have: Occupational Health and Safety qualifications. Experience within the Construction Industry. Experience in HSE management techniques and tools. The ability to thrive in a dynamic and busy environment. Quantitative and qualitative risk assessment and monitoring of risk controls and actions involved in delivery and implementation of projects. Advanced skills in relevant computer software packages; use of basic functions of word processing, spreadsheet and email software. Ability to conduct and interpret audits and reviews. #J-18808-Ljbffr
