The Opportunity We are currently looking for several experienced and passionate Care Aides to join our Aged Care Team. We currently have a permanent part time employment opportunity offering Mon-fri with 55 Hrs per F/n. If you are available for this period, then we would love to hear from you Servicing the following suburbs: Ashfield, Bassendean, Noranda, Kiara, Beechboro, Eden Hill, Lockridge, Ballajura (Only successful applicants residing in the above suburbs will be contacted) Key Responsibilities Our Domestic Assistants deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and social support in the community. Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential. About You A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential. Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential. $32.86 per hour ($41.08 Casual rate inclusive of 25% loading) + super Travel allowance of $1.03per k/m Provided with a mobile phone for work purposes. 17.5% annual leave loading and excess leave cash out options 4-6 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year.
