Sales Support Officer

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is integral to the Sales and Logistics departments, offering support with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and administrate sales and large stock orders for chain store customers such as Bunnings, Plantmark, Costco, Mitre 10, Flower Power, as well as general support for the independent customer base. The role will also support our fast‑paced logistics department working closely with and filling in for our Logistics Manager as required, ensuring efficient deliveries of our orders through effective load planning and fleet coordination. This is an ‘on‑site’ role with some client visitation, inventory stocktaking, merchandising and order planning as required for specific customers. The best fit for this role is a passionate plants person that enjoys regularly inspecting stock at our nursery and feeding communication back to customers in terms of scheduling deliveries or stock availability, particularly when managing large stock allocations. The role best suits a motivated individual that loves to have many balls in the air, multi‑tasking in a fast paced / varied environment and enjoys the changes of work requirements due to seasonality, as well as learning about our products and the broader Greenlife retail environment. RESPONSIBILITIES All back‑end activities relating to Bunnings, Mitre 10, Costco & Plantmark: product submissions; pricing updates; allocation templates; weekly stock availability updates Back up support for Logistics Coordinator including: coordinating trucks for deliveries and pickups where necessary Work with sales team to provide accurate information re delivery schedules Timely and accurate response to customer enquiries concerning products and service Raising purchase orders, invoicing and associated admin duties Liaise with logistics department regarding deliveries etc Planning and progressing key accounts Maintaining and growing business relations with business partners Co‑ordination of customer orders for sales Co‑ordination of customer orders for sales promotions Regular updates of product availability lists Reception duties including taking and transferring incoming calls.
