About Kids' Early Learning Here at Council, we own and operate a childcare business, Kids' Early Learning, with a portfolio of 24 Childcare and Preschool centres, 8 Out of School Care services and over 70 family daycare educators. Kids' Early Learning has approximately 300 full‑time, part‑time and casual staff, and operates throughout the Blacktown local government area, serving over 2000 families and providing care and learning needs for their children. About The Opportunity We are currently seeking two permanent, part‑time enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Transport Assistant at: Kids' Early Learning OSHC Blackett Kids' Early Learning OSHC Marayong South Key Responsibilities Safely transport children from OSHC centres to neighbouring schools before school care, and return the vehicle to the centre Collect children from schools and transport them to OSHC centres for after school care, ensuring timely and secure travel Drive children to and from excursion destinations during NSW public school holidays as part of vacation care programmes Conduct thorough pre‑drive and post‑drive vehicle safety checks Provide exceptional customer service through friendly, respectful, and supportive interactions with children, families, and staff Qualifications and Experience New South Wales (NSW) Light Rigid (LR) licence to drive motor vehicles with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) of between 4,500 to 8,000 kilograms NSW C class driving licence Solid experience driving with an LR licence Evidence of a good driving record (Service NSW) Working with Children Check (WWCC) Desirable First aid certification Demonstrated commitment to customer service Ability to work within a team environment Remuneration and Benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement. Entry level for this position starts at $1,130.82 per week, pro‑rata Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs Safety and Compliance This position has been identified as child related work, in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013.
