Maintenance Technician – Dematic (Moorebank, NSW) Join our dynamic team at Dematic in Moorebank, New South Wales, Australia. We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to support our night shift operations. Position Overview Shift: Permanent nights (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) Job Title: Mechanical Fitter Location: Moorebank, Sydney Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Entry level Industries: Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage Responsibilities & Duties Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment during the night shift. Operate hydraulics, pneumatics, and other systems within a high‑automation environment. Use tools and equipment to perform precise repairs and calibrations. Document maintenance records and report issues to the operations team. Assist with installations and commissioning of new automation equipment. Participate in continuous improvement and safety initiatives. Qualifications Australian Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade. Mechanical Fitter with proven maintenance experience. Solid mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders. Experience with automation systems or CMMS (e.g., Maximo) is a plus but not essential. Why Join Us?
