Electrical Maintenance Technician (Shift) Western Sydney International Airport – full‑time on‑site, 12‑hour shifts on a 24/7 roster. Responsibilities include: Preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems on baggage handling and storage crane systems. Fault finding and troubleshooting on automated systems. Use of data analytics to enhance system performance. Provide technical support to customers. Day‑to‑day responsibilities: Conduct electrical maintenance inspections. Diagnose and repair electrical systems and components. Ensure compliance with WHS standards. Qualifications Australian trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Electrical, with at least 3‑5 years of post‑trade experience as a Service Technician. Strong electrical background working on industrial automated equipment. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills. Good written and verbal communication skills (English). Highly Regarded Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical). Experience in logistics, postal sorting and baggage handling systems. Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems). Highly motivated with a keen interest to further development and studies.
