PM Electrical Maintenance Technician or Tradesperson We are looking for a qualified and hands‑on PM Electrical Maintenance Technicians or Tradespersons to join our maintenance team at Banksmeadow. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated Sortation Systems and related depot equipment to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the full maintenance of our Sortation Systems and related depot equipment. This includes performing preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as swiftly addressing any unforeseen breakdowns or damages. The position requires expertise as an Electrical Fitter, along with broader responsibilities for general depot maintenance. Benefits Full-time permanent position 15% superannuation Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day Working hours 4.00PM-12.00AM Overtime if required High priority on safety and keeping our team members safe All PPE and uniforms are provided Key Responsibilities Carry out planned maintenance for automated sortation systems and related freight handling equipment, ensuring maximum throughput. Assist in designing innovative solutions for evolving operational and business needs. Respond quickly to mechanical or automation faults. Maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (MEX). Repair critical system components and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules. Support operational teams with system usage and training. About You Skills & Experience Experience in maintaining complex industrial facilities. Familiarity with PLC, VSD, and SCADA installations. Knowledge of carton and package handling conveyor systems. Proficiency in reading technical diagrams. Experience with conveying equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to use MEX software effectively. Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and project experience. Desired Qualifications Freight/Transport experience. Understanding of operational KPIs and task planning. Focus on continuous improvement. Certificate III in Electrical Fitting. A Grade Electrical Licence. Valid Driver’s Licence. #J-18808-Ljbffr
