Motel Manager

$80,000 per year (negotiable based on experience) The Wagga RSL Motel & Apartments are seeking a hands on, guest focused individual who thrives on variety, takes pride in presentation, and enjoys delivering exceptional service. Set in the heart of Wagga, the RSL Motel & Apartments offers a variety of quality accommodation for both leisure and corporate travellers. Promising a relaxed stay, outstanding customer service, modern décor and high‑quality facilities. About the Role This is a full‑time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. You'll be responsible for leading the day‑to‑day operations of the Motel, including but not limited to: Managing day‑to‑day Motel operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from check‑in to check‑out. Overseeing rate management, OTA listings, room inventory, and the channel manager to ensure occupancy and revenue targets are met. Leading guest experience across all touchpoints — pre‑arrival, in‑stay, and post‑stay communication. Working closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and linen suppliers to uphold our high presentation standards. Coordinating with the broader management team to ensure smooth cross‑department communication. Handling rostering, training, and supervision of the reception and housekeeping teams. Supporting the General Manager with operational reporting specific to the Motel. About You You’re a hands‑on leader — strategic, proactive, and people‑focused, with strong operational instincts and a steady approach to problem‑solving. You've got strong interpersonal and communications skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse range of guests and stakeholders. You have high level computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications, property management systems, and online travel agencies.
