Operations Manager

Position Details We are now looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager – Transport to lead our Victorian transport operations based at Hume Road, Laverton North in Melbourne . This is a critical leadership role responsible for the effective execution of our day-to-day state transport operation. You’ll lead a diverse team, ensure safe and efficient delivery performance and identify opportunities for growth through strong commercial and customer relationships. What you’ll be doing Lead the Victorian transport operation to deliver safe, efficient daily performance Manage, coach and develop a team including drivers, planners, allocators and administrators Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility, mass and fatigue management and NHVR requirements Deliver service excellence for key customers and proactively resolve issues Identify growth opportunities and contribute to commercial development in the state Drive operational efficiency, cost control and continuous improvement Manage assets including servicing and maintenance schedules Maintain compliance with HACCP, food safety and cold-chain requirements Build strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders Safety at Lineage – our first priority, our constant mindset At Lineage, safety isn’t negotiable.
