PHARMACY ASSISTANT Competitive PART TIME/FULL TIME Position IMPORTANT: GENUINE APPLICANTS ONLY Long term position is essential. No time wasters - Please make sure you answer your phone when called otherwise you miss out About the Role You will be working with a friendly professional team in a community pharmacy that serves a friendly and loyal clientele, as well as many nursing homes. You will work alongside the pharmacists, supporting the team with proudly servicing our nursing home and community patients. We are looking for somebody interested in a Pharmacy Assistant or Dispensary Technician position to join our friendly loyal team. THIS POSITION WOULD INCLUDE SATURDAYS - Hours will be discussed upon application. This position offers 25-35 hours per week. About You You are a strong team player. You have a positive and friendly attitude. You have excellent customer service skills. You are enthusiastic about community pharmacy. You have a dedicated work ethic. You work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment. You have proven time management skills. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English is a must. Required to answer phone calls and have good phone mannerism. Experience or Certificate in pharmacy is desired but not essential. You must be 21+ years of age to apply for this position. Key Responsibilities Attending to front of shop and serving customers. Dispensing prescriptions using FRED software (training will be provided). Attention to detail with picking and labelling of stock (lots of nursing home resident orders). Marking off supplier orders and placing stock away on shelves. Helping out with answering phone calls. Filing prescriptions and medication charts correctly.
