Music Therapist | Join an established multidisciplinary centre Join us if you’re a creative clinician who lights up when expression shifts something meaningful for a child. EveryKid is expanding our creative therapies program, and we’re looking for Music Therapists who bring warmth, curiosity and a genuine passion for helping kids grow through connection and expression. You don’t need decades of experience. What’s more important is heart, flexibility and the desire to be part of a multidisciplinary team that works with you, not around you. You’ll be supported by Speech Pathologists, OTs, Psychologists and Physios who understand and value the therapeutic power of the arts. You’ll hold a diverse caseload across abilities, ages and goals, supporting communication, sensory regulation, emotional expression, confidence and engagement. And as our creative therapy arm grows, you’ll have a real voice in how we shape it. You’re a perfect fit if you: Love seeing children tap into creativity to communicate, grow and feel understood Thrive when collaborating with a close, supportive MDT (think co-treating and joint sessions) Are flexible, organised and confident with a varied caseload Lead with warmth, curiosity and a willingness to experiment Value meaningful therapy over prescriptive programming Enjoy playing a role in building a service, not just filling a spot on a roster Want autonomy with genuine support behind you Have experience in group facilitation Music Therapists – Your experience includes: Registered Music Therapist (RMT) with AMTA Using music to support communication, engagement, sensory regulation, emotional expression and social skills Working with autistic children, neurodivergent learners and children with complex needs Structuring sessions creatively while adapting in the moment Confident documentation aligned with NDIS and family goals We’re also open to Art Therapists Your experience includes: Qualification and registration in Art Therapy Experience guiding children through creative expression to support regulation, emotional exploration, confidence and communication Comfort working with neurodivergent children, trauma-informed practice or varied abilities (NDIS experience ideal) Ability to tailor creative mediums to a child’s goals, sensory needs and developmental stage Skills in documenting outcomes within a therapeutic framework What you’ll love about this role: A values‑led workplace centred on kindness, collaboration and real outcomes Flexibility to shape your schedule Purpose‑built therapy rooms and access to MDT collaboration A safe, encouraging space to bring your creativity to life Leadership that listens, supports and invests in you The chance to help build and grow EveryKid’s creative therapies program At EveryKid, people come before processes, relationships matter more than metrics and therapy is about what genuinely helps a child move forward.
