Security Architect Duration: Initial 6-month contract with high possibility of extension. Working Flexibility: Hybrid Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Role Overview: We’re seeking a Security Architect to provide day-to-day security architecture support, focusing on design reviews and security guidance for people systems, business applications, and our group data platform, including AI and agentic components. Together we enable the connected future. Key Responsibilities Conduct security design reviews for business applications, people systems, and data platforms. Provide expert security advice to project teams and stakeholders. Support implementation and improvement of security controls aligned with CIS and NIST frameworks. Advise on threat modeling approaches (e.g., STRIDE, LMT). Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to security best practices. Enhance security posture for AI and agentic systems within the data platform. Skills & Experience Strong previous experience as a Security Architect in large enterprise environments. Familiarity with CIS and/or NIST security frameworks. Hands‑on experience with threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE or LMT. Expertise in security design for cloud, data, and application platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Ability to develop and maintain security architecture documentation and standards. Knowledge of incident response planning and investigations. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
