Position Snapshot Start: Mid-January-Mid February Sydney (base) Whitsundays (Winter) Salary: $70,000-$80,000 AUD + Super (as a guide) A high profile 26m private MY is on the search for a female Deck/Mate to join their program in the new year. The vessel is based in Sydney and runs with 3 X fulltime crew, generally operating with very low guests’ number (2) Very experienced captain to work under and be mentored by. The vessel adopts a small yacht work environment where everyone pitches in across departments to ensure guest stays are amazing The Deck/Mate will assist the chief stew with occasional interior function when not busy on deck Ideally the female deckhand will have time in Europe and will bring a very high standard of professionalism, keen to progress both tickets and skills The Ideal Candidate 1-2 seasons experience on yachts Good understanding of deck maintenance products Can assist with all deck function (docking, anchoring, bridge, tender) Personable & professional Excellent eye for detail PBL2 or Coxswain level (preferred) STCW Start: Mid-January-Mid February Salary: $70,000-$80,000 AUD + Super (as a guide) Type: Fulltime Requirements: Live ashore when in Sydney #J-18808-Ljbffr
