About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Mental Health Rehabilitation Clinician to join our Northwest Community Mental Health Service. This senior position plays a vital role in delivering high‑quality, rehabilitation‑focused care to consumers with complex mental health needs. In this role, you will undertake comprehensive rehabilitation assessments and provide individually tailored, evidence‑informed interventions that support each consumer’s recovery journey. You will coordinate care for consumers with multifaceted needs, ensuring they receive safe, person‑centred and recovery‑oriented support across all stages of treatment. You will also offer specialist rehabilitation advice to colleagues and participating services, contributing your advanced clinical expertise to guide best practice across the team. Collaboration is fundamental to this position. You will work closely with NDIS providers and Community Managed Organisations to ensure consumers have access to appropriate supports within the community. As a senior clinician, you will also provide discipline‑specific leadership, advocacy and mentorship, including the professional supervision of clinicians within your discipline. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both autonomy and teamwork and who is motivated by the opportunity to positively influence pathways and outcomes across the service. About You You are a skilled, motivated and compassionate senior clinician who thrives in a dynamic community mental health environment. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build meaningful therapeutic relationships with consumers, carers and colleagues, and you are confident working with people experiencing complex rehabilitation needs. You bring advanced discipline‑specific clinical knowledge and the ability to apply this expertise autonomously while remaining an active, collaborative member of the multidisciplinary team. You are committed to evidence‑based rehabilitation and maintain a strong advocacy focus, ensuring that consumer goals, independence and wellbeing remain central to every aspect of care. Your integrity, leadership capacity and dedication to high‑quality practice make you an invaluable contributor to both the team and the broader service. Requirements Must hold a qualification in one of the following: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Counsellor (Degree in Bachelor of Health Science Mental health, Djirruwang Program), Nutrition and Dietetics, and provide eligibility or membership of the relevant professional association / provisional or general registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. For a CNS2: relevant post‑registration qualifications and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of a post‑graduate qualification.
