E&I Superintendent

Wood is currently recruiting for an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent for a regional Queensland project on a FIFO arrangement from Queensland.
You will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of work, leading a diverse workforce providing support and structure to achieve a reliable plant and the required business outcomes.
This role will be on site in a regional Queensland location to commence in May for a FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off rotation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver best practice maintenance & asset availability for the client
Promote positive changes in organisational culture across the site
Actively participate in the development and update of site based operating plans and processes
Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness
Supporting and supervising tasks delegated to direct reports/respective team in the execution and delivery of contracted activities
Providing service delivery support to the business
QUALIFICATIONS
10 years' minimum experience in Electrical in a plant maintenance or construction complex associated with the Oil and Gas Industry
Demonstrated proficiency as a Superintendent / Supervisor with a minimum of 4 years in a work crew supervisory role
Recognised and accredited management qualification
Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position
Knowledge of relevant regulatory framework and legislation
Proficiency in scope definition
Hold a Current QLD Electrical License
Cert III Instrument & Control (preferred) or Cert IV Electrical - Instrumentation
Ability to fill the role of the qualified technical person (QTP)
Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills
Flexible with can-do attitude
