$145,000 – $150,000 per year + super + bonus A well‑established manufacturing company based in Brookvale is seeking a hands‑on, people‑focused Head of Operations to lead day‑to‑day production, drive efficiency, and support a range of operational improvement projects. You will be reporting directly to the CEO and be part of the management team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, blue‑collar environment and enjoys managing production, planning, people, and continuous improvement from end to end. We’re looking for a genuine people‑person Someone who is hands‑on, willing to jump in wherever needed, and eager to learn, grow, and develop within the organisation. About the Role Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee the full operational function of the manufacturing facility, including: Production & Production Planning Supply Chain & Procurement Raw Materials & Inventory Management Quality Assurance & Process Control Customer Service Oversight Major Project Management (IT Projects, Product development projects, Supply Chain Projects) You will lead a team of 7–8 frontline production and assembly staff, ensuring smooth operations, safe work practices, and consistent delivery of quality products. Key Responsibilities Manage end‑to‑end production operations and workflow Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and inventory levels Champion quality, compliance, and continuous improvement Support small and major projects across IT, product development, and operations Lead, coach, and motivate workshop and assembly teams Drive safety, performance, and operational efficiency across the facility Implement and understand OH&S rules and regulations within the facility What We’re Looking For Background in operations leadership, production management, construction management or general management Strong experience managing blue‑collar or workshop‑based teams Excellent communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills A proactive, positive, “get in and help” leadership style Ability to assist with project management (not necessarily lead) Experience with pumps, flow meters, mechanical components, or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential Hands‑on, down‑to‑earth attitude with a sense of responsibility and initiative Why This Role?
