Nurse/Medical Receptionist – Skin Clinic | Robina, QLD Location: Robina, Gold Coast Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: Immediate Join a Trusted Skin Clinic in the Heart of Robina We are a busy, well‑established skin clinic in Robina, specialising in advanced skin cancer treatments, skin cancer prevention, and cosmetic treatments. Our clinic has a large, multi‑practitioner team and a loyal patient base, providing a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same. We are seeking a versatile Medical Receptionist / Nurse to support our skin cancer services, combining front‑of‑house administration with clinical nursing responsibilities. The Role: This role includes both reception duties and clinical nursing responsibilities, primarily focused on the skin cancer side of the clinic. The successful candidate will be highly organised, tech‑savvy, and confident managing high patient volumes while providing exceptional care. Key Responsibilities – Reception Greet and assist patients with warmth, professionalism, and empathy. Manage appointments, bookings and daily schedules for a busy, multi‑practitioner clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow. Answer phone and email enquiries promptly and discreetly. Process payments, invoices and Medicare/private health claims. Complete end‑of‑day banking. Maintain accurate patient records using Xestro practice management software on Mac. Support practitioners with administrative tasks and documentation. Ensure cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting area. Uphold confidentiality and compliance with clinic protocols. Key Responsibilities – Nursing Assist Practice Doctors with surgical procedures. Perform Total Body Photography Mole Mapping. Provide wound care and suture removal. Triage and assess clients. Sterilise and manage laboratory processes. Order medical stock. Maintain practice standards. Mentor students during clinical placements from time to time. Take pride in the service you provide. You Will Bring: Nursing qualifications (EN/RN) with current registration. Minimum 6–12 months experience in a medical or specialist clinic. Strong tech skills, confident using Mac computers and clinical software (Xestro, Clinic to Cloud). At least 1 year of Medicare billing experience preferred. Excellent communication, multitasking and organisational skills. Calm, proactive approach in a busy, high‑volume clinic. Warm, patient‑focused demeanour.
