The Opportunity: General Manager - Infrastructure Asset Remediation An exciting leadership opportunity is now open for a General Manager - Infrastructure Asset Remediation to join this well-established company and spearhead growth in the Infrastructure Asset Remediation space. This role is all about driving business growth, delivering exceptional projects, building and leading a high-performing team—with strong backing from a reputable brand and a supportive leadership group. You’ll leverage your industry network and experience to lead the charge in developing and growing the infrastructure division, while shaping the future of remediation across roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities, water assets and more. You’ll report to the National General Manager (based in Sydney HQ) and collaborate with an experienced, forward-thinking executive team. Key Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Use your industry connections / network to expand the client base and build a strong project pipeline. Bids & Tenders: Lead the preparation of bids and proposals with support from the engineering and estimating teams. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders—including government agencies, contractors, and consultants. Be the go-to representative for the infrastructure asset remediation division. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap to grow the Infrastructure Asset Remediation division. Project Delivery & Oversight: Ensure projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Champion continuous improvement in safety, operations, and efficiency. Compliance & Risk Management: Guarantee that all works meet regulatory, environmental, and safety standards for infrastructure remediation. Financial Leadership: Own the division's P&L. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring commercial performance and sustainability. Team Leadership & Culture: Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers, project managers, and business developers. Foster a culture of safety, innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Ideally, you have: Proven experience in a senior management or senior project manager role within Infrastructure Asset Remediation - working for an Infrastructure Asset Remediation Contracting Company (We are not considering applicants from civil infrastructure companies, asset owners, or consultancy companies). Strong technical expertise in: Concrete Repair / Remediation, Crack Injection & Grouting, Carbon Fibre Strengthening, Cathodic Protection.
