The Company

The Role

As Tax Director, your role will be to support the CFO and COO in managing the tax function and meeting the tax obligations of the organisation and it's clients, alongside a project and process improvement focus. You will be responsible for planning for the future and improving the function working closely with in-house business transformation team. Your role will also be responsible for other broad range of duties, including but not limited to:

Collaborate on the conceptualization and preparation of annual tax statements for all investors.

Serve as the primary internal tax specialist overseeing all matters related to funds/trust tax throughout the Group.

Analyse the tax implications for both existing and new clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique tax situations.

Assist in the establishment and enhancement of processes, policies, and procedures concerning tax reporting and compliance matters.

Contribute to tax compliance efforts, including the meticulous preparation, review, and submission of tax returns, along with relevant reports to taxation authorities.

Play a pivotal role as a key tax resource for business analysts and the tech team, providing expertise in tax reporting and actively participating in the design and development of future platform technologies.

Effectively liaise with and oversee external tax advisers as necessary to meet the organisation's tax-related requirements

Your Profile

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant experience working in a Tax role within the Funds Management industry and will ideally be equipped with the following:

· Relevant tertiary qualifications (Accounting, Business, Finance)

· Minimum 5 years of funds tax experience

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
