Are you ready to shape the future of food quality and safety on a global stage McCain is searching for an experienced and visionary Director Food Safety and Quality APACSA to lead our strategic food safety and quality this newly created high-impact role youll be our subject matter expert and trusted leaderresponsible for driving an ambitious FSQ agenda delivering against bold targets and championing innovation and best practices. As the APACSA representative on our Global Food Safety and Quality Leadership Team youll collaborate across continents influence senior stakeholders and play a critical part in building a world-class future-ready FSQ organization. What youll be doing. Develop and implement FSQ strategies that align with overall McCain business objectives including clear functional plans delegated responsibilities and robust reporting channels. Champion ambitious quality and safety targets ensuring product consistency across all categories and channels. Foster cross-functional collaboration to deliver action plans facilitate best practice sharing and support FSQ talent development in the APACSA region. Ensure key products consistently meet consumer specifications by leading and coaching multi‑functional teams establishing clear business quality objectives and creating transparent action plans for achievement. Drive compliance with all food safety and quality standards whether company regulatory or third party by establishing and auditing robust processes working closely with cross‑functional leaders and ensuring effective corrective action when required. Contribute to the ongoing development of the FSQ organizational structure by supporting talent management training succession planning and ensuring the team has the right skill mix for both current and future business needs. What youll need to be successful. 15 years experience in Food Safety & Quality leading teams in matrixed global environments Strong operational mindset; quickly builds credibility across the business Skilled in influencing cross‑functional decision‑making Business‑savvy leader driving strategic and operational FSQ excellence Deep expertise in HACCP Sanitary Design Sanitation and Quality Assurance Builds effective cross‑functional partnerships to drive results Experienced in turnarounds and leading region‑wide quality strategies Proven success in improving quality functions and stakeholder engagement Strong interpersonal skills; collaborates across diverse teams and cultures Effective in complex multi‑functional business settings High initiative with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams Experienced change leader in food quality and operational upgrades About the team.
