Accounts & Office Administration - New Home Builder An established local builder we pride ourselves on quality, impeccable attention to detail and excellence. We are a small dynamic team and we are looking for a new team member About the Role We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable, Receivable and Administration Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting general office administration to ensure smooth business operations. The role is permanent part time - 24 hours per week. We are flexible with hours, so you could do 3 full days or 4 days working school hours. You would be working out of our Cairns office. Key Responsibilities Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies Maintain accurate records of expenses and approvals Assist with month‑end accruals and reporting Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements Follow up on overdue accounts and manage debtor collections Record incoming payments and reconcile bank deposits Maintain up-to-date customer account information Provide general administrative and clerical support to the team Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence Maintain office supplies and assist with purchasing Support management with data entry, filing, and document control Assist with payroll preparation and HR recordkeeping About you You will share a passion for our purpose to build beautiful homes for our clients and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate: Strong planning/organising and effective workflow management skills Great communicator and able to take initiative A team player that can also work independently and take on the role as their own Commitment to getting the work down but also have some fun along the way Attention to detail and good analytical skills Administration & accounts payable/ receivable experience is required. Construction industry experience preferred but not essential.
