Teacher Earth and Environmental Science / Geography Position Number: 0000B48I Location Sydney Region (Killarney Heights High School) Number of Positions 1 Remuneration Remuneration package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience. School Information Killarney Heights High School is a comprehensive co‑educational school with a population of 980 students, 43% EALD, located 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD in a bushland setting near the northern beaches of Sydney. Specific Selection Criteria Approval to teach Earth & Environmental Science and Geography Stages 5 & 6. Demonstrated ability to deliver rigorous programs, which effectively assess student progress, provide quality feedback and differentiate to meet the needs of all students. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build strong working relationships with staff, students, parents and the wider school community. Capacity to implement whole school Positive Behaviour for Engaged Learning framework to consistently manage student wellbeing and behaviour. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
