Where the team fits in This is a leadership role within the Lifecycle Marketing team, which forms part of the wider Customer Excellence team – responsible for powering our customer channels with insights and data to deliver bigger, better results for our people, our customers and REA Group. What The Role Is All About In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle strategy for our Agency Marketplace, Agency Services and Customer Nurture portfolios. Guided by deep understanding of our customers and our overarching Product, CX & GTM strategies, you’ll lead the development of sophisticated, multi‑channel programs that connect the right person, with the right message, at the right time. This is a unique moment to join this team. You will be part of a multi‑year technology transformation, balancing delivering value in our current platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Braze) and forward planning as new capability is unlocked in Braze. Shaping the lifecycle strategy: Partnering with the Head of Lifecycle Marketing to define and drive the annual strategy, shaping how we drive engagement, sentiment and revenue with customers across our channels (email, in‑platform, push notifications & SMS) Driving measurable outcomes: Translating high‑level strategy into team‑level OKRs, ensuring we are laser focused on the right programs to deepen engagement and convert key segments Leading & developing a high‑performing team: Leading, mentoring and inspiring a team of lifecycle marketers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability and radical candor to attract and retain top talent Steering program development and execution: Lead the end‑to‑end development of lifecycle programs, collaborating closely with GTM, Product & CX stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and customer needs Owning the strategic roadmap: Own and govern a complex roadmap of activity across the Agency Marketplace, Agency Services and Customer Nurture portfolios, effectively prioritising initiatives, managing dependencies and steering delivery to ensure OKRs are met or exceeded Championing a data‑driven culture: Harnessing a blend of data (internal, declared and inferred) to design and implement deeply personalised customer communications, and effectively report on the performance and business impact to senior leadership Driving innovation with AI: Championing the use of AI to drive efficiency and innovation, from optimising workflows and personalising content, to identifying new opportunities for impact Maximising MarTech investment: Partnering with Marketing Operations to maximise the value of our MarTech stack (SFMC & Braze), co‑creating efficient workflows and maximising platform capabilities Acting a strategic partner and customer champion: Proactively identifying new opportunities for growth and advocating for an exceptional customer experience, with leaders across the business Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for a seasoned leader, strategic thinker and someone who can prioritise for impact. An ideal candidate has: A proven track record of building and mentoring high‑performing teams, leading with empathy to create a culture of excellence Expertise in translating complex quantitative and qualitative data into a clear, actionable marketing strategy A deep, empathetic understanding of different customer mindsets and needs, coupled with a relentless drive to create exceptional and personalised experiences A natural ability for ruthless prioritisation, focusing on what matters most and expertly balancing the delivery of immediate value with the strategic needs of long‑term transformation A high sense of ownership and agency, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and a commitment to holding oneself and their team to the highest standards of accountability Proven expertise in complex program management from concept to completion, including the ability to drive alignment, manage resources and deliver clear analysis of results Extensive experience (10+ years) across different aspects of lifecycle marketing, with the ability to define success metrics, build strategic roadmaps, personalised multi‑channel initiatives, and consistently exceed KPI’s The REA Experience The physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
