Event Estimator Supervisor

Overview Ambrose Construct Group are one of Australia's largest Insurance Repair Specialists, with offices nationally. Due to our expansion, we are seeking an experienced Estimator Supervisor to join our FIFO events team. We are seeking motivated, trade qualified Building Supervisors who are keen to join our Events Team in a FIFO capacity, to prepare for the upcoming storm season. The role Travel to events when required (10 weeks on / 4 weeks off). Flexible location options: Position available in Gold Coast, North Queensland, or New South Wales. Undertake the correct method of repair to achieve the ‘first time repair’ and outstanding customer satisfaction. Create a scope of works with accurate costings. Ability to recruit, manage and maintain sub-contractors. Maintain an effective channel of communication with National Event Manager & Construction Manager and all Clients as required. Contribute to the financial viability of the repairs by managing all aspects of cost control balanced against quality of repair. Work in line with Australian relevant building codes and local standards. Contribute to and comply with all statutory legislation including the relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures applicable to Ambrose Construct Group. Up to $200 daily allowance in addition to salary. Desired skills & experience A full and valid driver’s licence. Relevant trade qualifications. Strong ability to diagnose issues and prioritise tasks effectively. Experience working in both occupied and vacant properties. Proven ability to ensure all necessary materials are available to meet service demands. Understanding of responsive maintenance within insurance repairs (desirable). Experience collaborating with multi-skilled trade teams in varied property settings (desirable). Familiarity with delegating tasks and using mobile devices for data entry and work management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible, professional, and customer-focused approach, with the ability to adapt to a wide range of situations.
