Field Service Technician - Plant and Machinery Based at Burton, South Australia, this hands‑on role will see you the majority on‑site, servicing and repairing earthmoving and heavy machinery at client locations across SA. What You Will Do Travel to sites to service, maintain, and repair plant and machinery, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in the field. Conduct safety inspections and ensure machinery meets operational standards. Maintain accurate service records and document repairs thoroughly. Work independently supporting the Big Chief team. Provide professional service delivery to clients at all times. What You Will Bring Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Plant & Machinery, or similar qualification. 1–3+ years of hands‑on experience with heavy machinery or field service work. Strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Valid driver's licence (HR licence or higher preferred). Ability to work independently, travel to sites, and thrive in a field‑based environment. Safety‑first mindset with commitment to OH&S compliance. What We Offer Competitive industry pay.
