About The Role As part of the Office of the Official Solicitor, you will offer front‑line, customer‑focused legal services to support the multifaceted work of QPT. In This Role, You Will Provide professional legal advice on matters including property law, succession law, trusts and disability law. Represent QPT before courts and tribunals, ensuring legal positions are effectively articulated. Prepare applications for grants of representation, including probate for QPT and external clients. Undertake conveyancing and other property‑related transactions on behalf of QPT. Collaborate with Customer Experience and Delivery staff to manage legal matters efficiently and achieve positive outcomes for customers. About You You bring a solid foundation in legal practice with a focus on delivering high‑quality, efficient, and customer‑oriented legal services. Required Attributes Understanding or ability to quickly acquire the basic theoretical and practical aspects of property law, succession law, elder/disability law, trusts, and litigation across state and commonwealth courts and tribunals. Ability to engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment. Commitment to delivering superior client service in line with public sector standards and QPT values. A degree in law (or equivalent) and admission as a legal practitioner in Australia. Why Join Us?
