Implement effective learning and assessment frameworks that use data and benchmarks to drive best practice. Work collegially with the head of school, executive and other key staff in implementing the school’s goals within the team. Model exemplary classroom teaching and practice. Management of student behaviour Ensure student results, assessment tasks and work samples are recorded accurately and in a timely fashion. Bachelor's degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification). Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). Capacity to teach Year 1 – Year 8 Chinese Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NESA requirements. Demonstrated commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL). Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW syllabus documents, including the ability to respond to student learning needs. Participation in co‑curricular or extracurricular activities, camps, or school events NSW Working with Children Check National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) Be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team.
