Health Information Service Clerk page is loaded## Health Information Service Clerklocations: Geelong, Victoriatime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: December 12, 2025 (13 days left to apply)job requisition id: JR-14191**Your role at St John of God Geelong Hospital**To maintain a high standard of health records and provide an efficient service to internal departments and external organisations. **The Position*** Accurate and timely scanning of health record documents to Scanned Health Record System (SHRS).* Prepare and verify documents for scanning to SHRS.* Perform quality activities on scanned documents.* Correct identified anomalies in SHRS.* Respond to telephone, email and fax enquiries from other departments and external organisations for requests for patient information.* Update and maintain doctor and practice database.* Filing and culling of health records.* Maintain health record tracking system for all record movements.* Collect and sort mail.* Liaise with secondary storage contractor for the retrieval and return of health recordsYou will have excellent communication and customer service skills, along with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.To succeed, you will be proficient in using email, web-based applications, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
