About the Facility The role is based at University Hospital Geelong, part of Barwon Health’s major sites. A range of mental health, community health and dental services are delivered across the Barwon South West region. About the Role The Health Information Services Department manages the health records of Barwon Health within a digital environment, handling historical records, release of information requests, data integrity and health record forms management. The position covers leave across several Health Record Clerk positions and provides assistance with the scanning process. Hours and days are negotiable, and job share will be considered. Key Responsibilities Support the Management of Health Records in a digital environment. Assist with scanning processes and documentation handling. Cover leave across existing Health Record Clerk positions. Maintain data integrity and comply with health record legislation. Provide assistance with release of information requests. Qualifications Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new software. Positive "can do" attitude and proven ability to manage priorities. Experience in service delivery and health record management advantageous. Knowledge of relevant health legislation is an advantage. Benefits Excellent working conditions with high job satisfaction.
