About the position We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced and motivated leaders in the OSHC or Education and Care sector to join our team as Coordinator of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) in January 2026. This role oversees the day‑to‑day operation of our OSHC service, providing engaging and nurturing programs for children across After School Care and Vacation Care. The Coordinator will be responsible for the leadership and management of the service, supported by a team of Educators, Responsible Persons and OSHC Assistants. This is a part‑time role, 28 hours per week (0.75 FTE), and would suit a highly experienced OSHC leader who brings strong regulatory knowledge, excellent team leadership skills, and a proactive approach to service quality, administration and compliance. Key responsibilities Oversee the daily functioning of the OSHC program across After School and Vacation Care. Lead and support Educators, Responsible Persons and Assistants to deliver high‑quality, child‑centred programmes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, policy and quality assurance requirements (including NQF, ACECQA and service regulations). Administer required processes including enrolments, billing, documentation and reporting. Build positive relationships with children, families, and school staff, fostering a welcoming and inclusive OSHC environment. Ensure policies, procedures and risk management processes are effectively implemented. About you You are a committed and capable professional who is passionate about providing high‑quality care, enriching experiences, and a positive environment for children. You will bring: A relevant qualification in Education and Care (Diploma or higher preferred). Demonstrated leadership experience within an OSHC or Education and Care environment. A strong understanding of applicable regulations, quality standards and compliance requirements. Well‑developed administrative, organisational and communication skills. The capacity to lead, support and inspire a team, ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the service. You are someone who: Is motivated by creating meaningful, safe and engaging programmes for children. Builds positive relationships and fosters a supportive and collaborative team culture. Approaches responsibilities with initiative, flexibility and professional accountability. Demonstrates a commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining compliance and safety for staff, students and members of the community at all times.
