National Heavy Vehicle Regulator – Shepparton VIC Our Safety and Compliance officers are currently located across the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. Working as part of a large national on-roads operations unit, you are at the frontline in keeping our roads safe, monitoring heavy vehicle compliance, through your application of the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) and engaging with the heavy vehicle industry. Responsibilities Providing advice, education and guidance in the awareness of road safety for heavy vehicles in the community. Work cohesively as a team to ensure we deliver activities in accordance with relevant road transport laws, regulations and process. The requirement to frequently work outside normal office hours, weekends and public holidays to meet operational requirements. Intra and interstate travel, to support other operational teams. About You As the ideal candidate will have: The ability to gain a detailed understanding of the National Heavy Vehicle Law.
