About The Team And Role Our Transaction Advisory Group in Australia comprises former Big 4 professionals delivering top‑tier financial due diligence for private equity, infrastructure, and corporate clients. We specialise in buy‑side and sell‑side engagements, focusing on quality of earnings, cash‑flow analysis, working‑capital reviews, and key business drivers. Key Responsibilities Lead financial due diligence (FDD) projects to assess risks, deal breakers and business strengths, and align findings with client investment strategies and industry benchmarks. Analyse financial statements to generate insights and engage with target management. Prepare deal‑focused reports and presentations, highlighting financial findings and their impact on valuation and agreements. Manage client relationships, meetings and execution matters. Collaborate with Managing Directors/Senior Directors to address engagement and transaction risks with creative solutions. Support business development and manage engagement logistics including billing, scope changes and engagement letters. What You Bring To The Team Proven experience in an FDD role and a background in a Big 4 environment. CPA or CA qualification. Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, plus experience with data analytics and visualisation software such as Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau. Willingness to travel within Australia where practical.
