Core Responsibilities Complete mandatory inspection on truck equipment and supplies before commencing work each day Pick-up and delivery of containers, adhering to strict deadlines Liaise regularly with allocator regarding allocations, cancellations and additional assistance required Represent the Company in a consistently professional and positive manner Follow strict Work Health and Safety policies and procedures within all aspects of position Key Accountabilities Accurately complete daily tasks and follow departmental procedures as directed Maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations Responsible for the cleanliness and proper operation of trucks and equipment Be able to interact with others in a professional and ethical manner Understand and follow all RMS Heavy Vehicle road rules and regulations Current MSIC (not required, but an advantage) Has held HC Drivers License for more than 2 years Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised Ability to follow instructions Availability to work 40 hours per week and occasional Saturday's during peak periods Ability to provide National Driving Record from RMS Ability to undertake a medical or provide one within last 6 months Excellent knowledge of Sydney Metro Area Strong written and verbal communication skills, including dispute resolution High attention to detail and time management skills Forklift experience an advantage but not required. Payrate negotiable for the right candidate, good pay with standard and overtime rates – no flat rate #J-18808-Ljbffr
