Bourgault Australia is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team and support our dealer network across the eastern states. This role is ideally suited to candidates located within 2–3 hours of Albury, offering a great balance of field work and regional travel. Bourgault is a market leading Canadian manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, specialising in the broad acre seeding and tillage. Bourgault products are channeled through a network of dealers across Australia and have earned a reputation for quality and productivity backed by our market leading parts and service. Our dealers and customers are supported by two distribution centres; one based in Kelmscott in WA and a second one in Ettamogah NSW. About the Role As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the technical backbone of our eastern states dealer network, providing expert support, training, and coordination for Bourgault’s innovative range of agricultural equipment. Your ability to build strong relationships with dealers, Bourgault Territory Managers and Bourgault factory staff will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for Bourgault’s new and legacy products. Train dealers on correct pre‑delivery procedures. Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to coordinate in‑field startup plans. Deliver operator training to dealers and customers. Guide dealers in accessing Bourgault’s technical resources. Report regional technical issues to the factory. Manage and process warranty claims for eastern states dealers. Validate claims promptly and ensure compliance with Bourgault’s warranty policies. Coordinate Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and rework programmes. Train dealers on warranty systems and procedures. Develop and implement an annual technical training plan for the dealer network. Deliver training sessions and materials to dealer teams. Attend and support Bourgault’s annual field day events. Assist dealers and Territory Managers with product demonstrations. About You Trade qualifications in mechanical, agricultural, electrical or related engineering fields are required. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and GPS systems. Experience in agricultural machinery technical support or service. Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in a field‑based role. Familiarity with warranty processes and dealer support is highly desirable.
