This is an amazing opportunity for an individual with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on AWS and Microsoft technologies. You'll be responsible for the health, security, compliance, and performance of our systems, leveraging automation and a proactive approach to maintain a reliable and scalable environment. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain our Windows Server and Linux environments. Manage containerized applications and services using Docker. Cloud Operations & Automation: Utilize a strong understanding of AWS services to manage and provision resources. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Develop and manage CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins to automate deployments and workflows. Security & Compliance: Ensure our systems adhere to security standards and compliance frameworks such as ISO and PCI DSS. Participate in security operations, including investigating alerts and contributing to incident response. Incident Management: Actively participate in the incident management process, including identification, logging, prioritization, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents to restore normal service operations as quickly as possible. Monitoring & Performance: Monitor the performance of our .NET Core applications and SQL Server databases using APM tools like New Relic, Datadog, and SQL Monitor. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Scripting: Write and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency. Domain & Email Administration: Manage and configure domain settings, including DNS records. Administer email security tools and email relay systems to protect against threats. Various other tasks as assigned by manager. Key Requirements Proven, hands‑on experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration. Experience with Docker and container management. 3+ years working knowledge of AWS cloud services. Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. Experience building and managing CI / CD pipelines with Jenkins. Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO and PCI DSS. Hands‑on experience with ticket management tools and incident response protocols. Experience with APM tools (New Relic, Datadog, SQL Monitor) for application and database monitoring. Skilled in scripting with either PowerShell or Python. Experience with domain configuration and email security management. ITIL certification is preferred.
