Employment Type: Full-time Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Zoomlion Australia is expanding, and we are seeking a highly capable Tender & Proposal Specialist to manage and deliver high-quality submissions for government, mining, and major project contracts. This is a strategic role within a global machinery company undergoing significant growth across Australia and New Zealand. About the Role You will manage the end-to-end tender and bid process, including opportunity identification, drafting, coordination, and submission. Working closely with technical, engineering, sales, and legal teams, you will produce compliant, competitive, and professionally presented tenders that support Zoomlion Australia’s commercial objectives. This role is well suited to a law graduate or early-career solicitor with an interest in construction law, mining law, procurement, or commercial contracting who is looking to grow their career in major-project environments. Key Responsibilities Identify and track tender opportunities across government, mining, and commercial sectors. Lead the full tender lifecycle, ensuring timely, compliant, and accurate submissions. Draft clear, persuasive tender responses and supporting materials. Coordinate inputs from internal technical and commercial stakeholders. Interpret complex legal, contractual, and technical requirements. Maintain tender libraries, capability statements, and standard content. Monitor tender outcomes and provide reporting to management. Skills and Experience Law degree or experience in legal, commercial, contracts, or compliance roles (highly regarded). Strong interest in construction, mining, procurement, or commercial project work. Excellent writing, analytical, and document drafting skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Ability to interpret tender documentation and evaluation criteria. Experience with tender portals or procurement systems is an advantage. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
