Gate Automation Technician – BNG Australia HQ based in West Meadows BNG Australia is seeking a skilled and motivated Gate Automation Technician to join our growing team. We specialise in automatic gate systems, access control, CCTV integration, and for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. About the Role As a Gate Automation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault‑finding, and repair of automated gate systems and related electrical/mechanical components. This position suits someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and delivering high‑quality customer service, in a growing company. Key Responsibilities Install and commission automatic gate motors (sliding, swing, boom gates, etc.) Installation of residential & commercial gates and fencing, work with team members in our Aluminum works division Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control‑system fault Perform routine service calls, safety inspections and preventative maintenance Install and integrate access control systems (keypads, intercoms, RFID, remotes, CCTV) Work independently and manage onsite tasks efficiently Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and company procedures Requirements Experience in gate automation minimum 5 years, worked with the following brands BFT, Beninca, Grifco, Roger, GDS Solid understanding of low‑voltage electrical systems and mechanical components, intercoms, access control Current driver’s licence Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively White Card Working with Childrens check What We Offer Salary: $65,000 + Superannuation (scope to increase based on experience) Company vehicle, phone, and tools provided Full training on specific brands and systems Supportive team environment and long‑term career growth Work in a fast‑growing security and automation sector How to Apply Please send your resume to: ****@bnggroup.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
