Afternoon Shift Ambient Dry Store Voice Pickers Wanted - Eastern Creek Our business partner based in the Eastern Creek area is an Australian-owned organization that delivers leading edge supply chain management systems and cost effective logistics solutions to their customers within the food industry. This position will be working in the Ambient Dry goods department which will involve voice picking consumer goods and alcohol based products as well as other duties as required. Pay rate $39.37 per hour (probation rate). After 6 months pay rate will be increased to $45.32 per hour. Afternoon Shift Available Monday - Friday with Saturday work where required. Flexibility will be required as the hours per day will be up to 10 hours daily. Eastern Creek Location. Temp to Permanent opportunities. Start times will be between 12pm and 4pm; shifts start flexibly and you stand out from the crowd. Training will be provided. Previous experience operating an electric pallet jack (EPJ). Experience with pick & pack and knowledge of carton stacking on pallets. Previous experience with voice picking. Experience with pallet stacking. MUST be flexible for the mentioned start times. Flexible as there may be standby shifts rostered. Forklift licence and experience with high reach (desirable but not essential). Flexibility to work overtime and ability to work with the start times mentioned. Physically fit and in good health. Good communication skills. Strong & reliable work history. Two work-related referees. Must be available for overtime and possible weekends where required. Must have a current driver’s licence & own reliable transport. Team player. Key Areas of Responsibility: Safe operation of electric pallet jack. Current forklift licence desirable but not essential. Voice picking experience highly regarded. Demonstrating a sound understanding of workplace health & safety. Competent level of numeracy & literacy skills. Initiative to make a contribution to the business.
