About The Job We are seeking a GCP Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. You will have the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our prestigious clients and contribute to their success. Responsibilities Design, develop, deploy and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes on the Google Cloud Platform using services such as Dataflow (or Apache Beam), dbt and Airflow. Optimise and tune data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability. Maintain code repositories using continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and technologies. Implement data governance and security best practices to ensure compliance and data integrity. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable seamless access to structured and unstructured data for analytics and reporting. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement. Requirements 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer (Mid-Level) with 1+ years of expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, and Cloud Storage. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and data modelling concepts. Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git Repository (i.e., BitBucket), CI/CD tools (i.e., Bamboo), Jira/Confluence is preferred. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
